A collaborative approach to meta-science
Abstract

CAMARADES (Collaborative Approach to Meta-Analysis and Review of Animal Data from Experimental) is a global leader in the conduct, and provision of methodological support for high quality preclinical systematic reviews and includes five national coordinating centres.

Emily will discuss the benefits of collaborative meta-science and explore some of the challenges and opportunities associated with this approach. Drawing on the experiences of the CAMARADES team, she will highlight some of our key findings and the impact of our work. Specifically, she will discuss how collaboration can facilitate the pooling of expertise, resources, and data, and promote diverse perspectives.

Collaborative meta-science represents a powerful and promising approach to advancing scientific inquiry and promoting transparency, reproducibility, and openness in the discipline. By working together, meta-scientists can leverage their collective strengths and tackle some of the most pressing challenges today.
