Talks and Posters

We invite abstract submissions for in-person talks or poster presentations, taking place during Metascience 2027 (14-16 June 2027) in Montreal, Canada.

Talks will consist of 10-12-minute oral presentations grouped by thematic alignment, and delivered across parallel sessions during the meeting.

Posters will be displayed at the conference for a substantial portion of the meeting, with dedicated times during coffee and lunch breaks for participants to engage with poster authors and content.

Application Guidelines for Talks and Posters:

  • Title
  • Abstract: Must not exceed 250 words
  • Submitters should indicate whether they wish to be considered for a talk, a poster, or either format. Submissions indicating interest in either format will first be evaluated for a talk and, if not selected, will then be considered for a poster presentation.
  • Submitters must identify the conference sub-theme(s) that best align with their abstract submission.

Panel Sessions

60 minutes: three (3) panelists + one (1) moderator

We invite abstract submissions for 60-minute panel sessions, taking place during Metascience 2027 (14-16 June 2027) in Montreal, Canada.

The purpose of panel sessions is to explore different aspects of a given topic, while fostering debate and conversation among panel participants and conference attendees. Panel sessions are expected to involve short contributions from three (3) speakers with one (1) moderator to facilitate a balanced discussion between panelists and the audience Q&A.

Panels should not be dominated by long talks and lengthy slide presentations. The moderator should serve a faciliatory role, introduce panelists and invite questions; they should not weigh in on what is being discussed.

Application Guidelines for Panel Sessions:

  • Panel Title
  • Abstract: Must not exceed 250 words
  • Participants: Identify three (3) speakers and one (1) moderator. Organizers are encouraged to consider the diversity of participants and perspectives when assembling their panel.
  • Submitters must identify the conference sub-theme(s) that best align with their abstract submission.
