Malgorzata works as a Research Associate at the University of New South Wales Sydney, Australia.
She is a biologist with research experience and skills in different fields of science. She often ventures outside biological topics and data, for example, into biomedical, environmental, conservation or even social sciences. In her research she uses research synthesis methods, such as systematic reviews/maps and meta-analysis. Her publications include meta-analyses of maternal effects, aspects of aging, evolution and differences between the sexes. She also contributes to methodological works addressing widespread issues in research, such as data non-independence, allometric scaling, heterogeneity, data sharing, reporting quality and research synthesis guidelines. Through these contributions, she aims to improve scientific practice and foster Open Science.
