Sarah Main is the Vice President for Academic and Government Relations, UK at Elsevier. Professor Main is responsible for guiding Elsevier’s scientific strategy, fostering innovation and ensuring the company continues to contribute to the advancement of global research. She holds a degree in natural sciences from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in molecular biology from University College London. She has held various leadership roles, including as a trustee of the British Science Association and the Foundation for Science and Technology. She is a fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, an honorary professor at University College London and Royal Academy of Engineering visiting professor in innovation, policy and society at the University of Westminster.
